Darwin Simmons

Services for Darwin Simmons, 87, will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 20th at Westside Wesleyan Church in Bristol.  Rev. Lynn Lutz and Rev. Adrian Timmons will officiate.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen under the direction of Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel, Groton. 
   
 Visitation will be held for one hour prior to services.
   
 Darwin passed away January 16, 2020 at Community Memorial Hospital, Redfield.
 
 Darwin Ray was born on February 2, 1932 in Verdon to Raymond and Myrtle (Jacobson) Simmons.  He attended school in Beotia Township #2.  Darwin farmed with his brothers near Verdon.
 
 Darwin was a member of the Westside Wesleyan Church in Bristol.  He enjoyed attending farm and auction sales and visiting with friends at the Senior Center in Redfield. 
 
 Celebrating his life are his cousins.
 

Preceding him in death were his parents, and infant sister, Marcella, an infant brother, Eldon, his brothers, Marlin and Elwood and several aunts and uncles.
 
Casketbearers will be Jim McComsey, Jason McComsey, Rick Buhler, Damien Krueger, Scott Krueger and Mike Sanger.
