Eunice Jensen Obituary

Eunice Mae Jensen, 92, passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 in the Forest Manor Nursing Home, Dewey, Oklahoma. 

 

Mrs. Jensen was born June 4, 1925 in Conde, South Dakota, the daughter of James and Lula (Conley) Cutshaw.  On June 8, 1943, she married Conrad Eugene Jensen in Conde.  A homemaker, Eunice enjoyed raising her children, cooking, gardening and farming.  An avid Bridge player, Eunice was and 88-year continuous member of the American Legion Auxiliary, as well as a member of the Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, the Conde Extension Club and had been involved with 4-H.  A member of the Catholic Church, Eunice was also a member of the Catholic Daughters.

 

Surviving her are her children, Merrit C. Jensen and wife Mona; Rennea Brown and husband, Lew; brother, Gerald Cutshaw and wife, Nancy; grandchildren:  Travis Jensen, Natalie Jensen, Aubrey Jensen, Yvette Pollock and Todd Thiel and many nieces and nephews.  Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters, Denise Thiel and Tamara Jensen Hayes; and grandchildren, Walter and Natalie.

 

Funeral Mass will be recited on Thursday, May 24, 6:15 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Pawhuska.  Father Sean Donovan will officiate.  Interment will be at the Conde Catholic Cemetery on Tuesday, May 29th at 11:00 a.m., with lunch to follow at the Community Center.
