Arnold "Dean" Weber Obituary

Memorial services for Arnold Dean Weber, Jr., 52, of Aberdeen will be 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 8th at Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel, Groton.  Rev. Lloyd Redhage will officiate. 

Visitation will be held at the chapel beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Dean passed away March 5, 2022 at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.

Arnold Dean Weber, Jr. was born on October 24, 1969 in Rapid City to Arnold and Barbara (Vogel) Weber.  At a young age, he moved with his family to Aberdeen, where he attended school.  Dean held several jobs before beginning a career as a truck driver.  He was employed with GCC driving cement truck and later worked for Wheat Growers, where he ran a tender truck. 

On November 17, 2006 he was united in marriage with Lisa Pigors in Aberdeen.  Together they moved to a hobby farm near Andover where he enjoyed the peace and privacy, along with a variety of animals.

Dean was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ferney.  He enjoyed watching car restoration programs, Nascar and football.  Dean also did woodworking in his spare time.

Celebrating his life is his wife, Lisa, his mother, Barbara Weber, daughter, Toby Weber, his brother, Brian (Andrea) Weber and sister, Lisa BenAissa, all of Aberdeen.  He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews, 6 great-nieces and nephews, a brother-in-law, Rick (Cindy) Pigors of Andover, his sister-in-law, Becky Felchle of Redfield and fur boy, Buddy.

Preceding him in death was his father, Arnold Sr. and parents-in-law, James (Marion) Pigors.
