Berthold Arthur Pigors was born on August 22, 1950 in East Hanson Township to Alfred Arthur and Marion (Bingham) Pigors. He attended school in Groton and graduated in 1969. Bert enlisted in the US Navy and served from August of 1971 to August of 1975. He returned to Groton and worked at Juel Egg Company for many years. Bert later worked for the Brown County Highway Department, and Dependable Sanitation. He became disabled in 1990 following a truck accident.
Bert was a gifted artist and had created many paintings over the years. He painted often with Bob Ross on the Joy of Painting. Bert enjoyed gardening and taking care of his plants and flowers. His home had won "Yard of the Week" on several occasions. Bert also loved his pet labrador dogs, as they were great companions to him over the course of his life.
Celebrating his life through memories are his siblings, Mike (Brenda) Pigors of Aberdeen, Carolyn (Philip) Knutson of Menomonie, Wisconsin, Brenda (Steve) Knapik of Wolcott, Connecticut, and half-sister, Larken (Lloyd) Francis of Grenada Hills, California.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his step-father, Marvin May.
Honorary Urnbearers will be all of Bert's friends.
