Beverly passed away November 19, 2009 at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada, Missouri.

Beverly Belle Erdmann was born on September 20, 1921 to Deno and Mabel (Smith) Erdmann near Verdon, South Dakota. She attended school in Groton and graduated in 1938. Beverly untied in marriage with Verne McCullough on November 21, 1939 at the Ferney Erdmann farm. The couple made their home on a farm near Claremont for many years and later moved to Groton in 1979. Together, they shared 68 years of marriage.

Beverly was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Groton and served on the Altar Guild and many committees. She was a true "farmer's wife" - up early in the morning and always preparing the next meal. She was a pristine housekeeper and the queen of the perfect yard. She was a member of the Groton American Legion Auxiliary and a lifetime member of Weight Watchers. Beverly also volunteered weekly at the Groton Nursing Home, reading to the residents.

Grateful for having shared in her life are her three sons: Greg and Sue Ann McCullough of Lidgerwood, North Dakota; David and Patsy McCullough of Nevada, Missouri; and Gene and Georgia McCullough of Rice Lake, Wisconsin; six grandchildren: Kevin McCullough, Brenda McCullough Clark, Elizabeth McCullough Stratman, Jennifer McCullough Westphal, Jason McCullough, Marcy McCullough Rieder, 14 great-grandchildren and one sister, Doris Duffy of Sioux Falls.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Verne, her parents and two brothers.

Casketbearers will be Kevin McCullough, Brenda Clark, Elizabeth Stratman, Jennifer Westphal, Jason McCullough, Marcy Rieder, Austin McCullough and Hannah Stratman.
