Services for Braden Trent Anderson, 3, of Groton will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 26th at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Groton. Pastor Elizabeth Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery under the direction of Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel, Groton.
Visitation will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume for one hour prior to services on Monday.
Braden passed away October 22, 2009 at Avera St. Lukes Hospital, Aberdeen.
Braden Trent Anderson was born on March 10, 2006 to Trent and Cheri (Lelm) Anderson in Aberdeen. He was baptized and attended Sunday school at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Braden was an active little boy who was full of life and love. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his brothers, whom he often called "the boys." Braden loved life and everything in it. He especially loved candy, pop, the outdoors; camping, fishing, hunting and riding four-wheeler. He also enjoyed playing with his toys, tools and animal friends, watching movies and going to visit grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Braden will forever be remembered in the hearts of all who knew him.
Celebrating his life through memories are his parents, two brothers; Austin and Dylan, his grandparents, David & Linda Anderson of Groton, Ron & Judy Lelm of Lidgerwood, North Dakota, paternal great-grandmothers; Marion Anderson of Groton and Margaret Hoberg of Webster and maternal great-grandmothers; Emily Lelm of Hankinson, North Dakota and Marion Thompson of Fife, Washington and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his paternal great-grandfathers; Emil Anderson and Lloyd Hoberg and maternal great-grandfathers; Reuben Lelm and Douglas Thompson.
Honorary Casketbearers will be all of those blessed to have known Braden, including his little animal friends.
Casketbearers will be Chad Lelm, Scott Lelm, Jason Lelm, Jesse Anderson, Jeff Larson and Tim Weigel.
