Charlotte Harry

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday February 9, 2012 at St. Paul's Ltheran Church in Ferney, Rev. Lloyd Redhage will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday 4-7 p.m. at the church with a 7p.m. prayer service.

Charlotte Jane was born on September 21, 1938 in Britton, South Dakota to Andrew Bertus and Agnes (Conard) Comp. She attended school in Groton, graduating in 1957. She was united in marriage with Russell Harry on June 16, 1957 at the West Hanson Church. They made their home on the farm, later moving in to Ferney in 1972. Char worked as Postmaster in Ferney from 1975 until the time of her death.

Charlotte was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ferney. The couple traveled to Germany, Hawaii, Ireland, Australia, Austria, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Mexico, Tahiti, New Zealand, Norway, Alaska, and many cruises. She enjoyed bowling, movies, riding bike and Chinese food. Together, she and Russ liked taking trips to the casino.

Celebrating her life is her husband, Russell; her children, Steve (Zenaida) Harry of Ferney, Vicki (Bruce) Tuck of Marino Valley, CA, Lauri Howard of Groton, Lisa Harry of Groton; her grandchildren, Joey (Shonna) Harry, Justin Harry, Zander Harry, Nicole Tuck, Aaron Tuck, Rebekah Tuck, Bethany Tuck, Micah Tuck, Christina Tuck, Danielle Tuck, Cameron Howard, Maddie Howard, Devan Howard, Darac Harry and her great-grandchildren, Aubray Harry, Trevor Harry, Alexis Harry and Bailee Tuck.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother, Delwin.
