Crystal (Hoops) LeBeau

Services for Crystal (Hoops) LeBeau, 32, of Groton will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 20th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Aberdeen. Rev. Lloyd Redhage will officiate. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen at a later date.


Crystal passed away July 15, 2011 at her alternate residence in Aberdeen.


Visitation will be held Tuesday at Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue prior to services in Aberdeen.

Crystal Marie was born on May 12, 1979 in Aberdeen to Robert James and Peggy (LeMunyon) Hoops. She attended school in Groton, graduating in 1997. Crystal earned her Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix and was one semester away from obtaining her Masters.


Crystal enjoyed crafts of all kinds, and had made many beaded bracelets. She also worked with cross stitch and needlepoint crafts. Crystal loved to read and watch movies and also enjoyed taking her dogs to Wylie Park.

Celebrating her life is her husband, Marlin of Aberdeen; her mother, Peggy of Groton; her in-laws, Floyd and Patricia LeBeau of Aberdeen; two brothers, Richard (Tammy) Hoops of Pierpont, Patrick Hoops and his fiancAC. Tamara Kohnen of Bristol, two sister-in-laws, Melissa LeBeau of Minneapolis, Karen LeBeau of Aberdeen and her nieces and nephews: Jordan, Alex, Rachel, Sarah, James, Daniel and Montgomery Hoops, Steven Sossong, Jacob Hoops and Cole LeBeau. Crystal is also survived by her grandmother, Ruth Hoops of Bristol and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceding her in death was her father, her niece, Rebecca Hoops, paternal grandfather, James Hoops and maternal grandparents, Arthur N. & Ruby M. LeMunyon.

Casketbearers will be Marlo Knoepfle, Julian Kraig, Cole LeBeau, James Hoops, Jr., David Hoops and Jim Mortenson.
