Destri Neuhardt

Services for Destri Neuhardt, 37, of Sioux Falls will be 10:00 am, Saturday, October 4th at Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel, Groton. Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Ferney under the direction of Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel, Groton. www.paetznick-garness.com

Closed-casket visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Friday and will continue for one hour prior to services on Saturday.

Destri passed away September 30, 2008 at his sister's home near Ferney.

Destri Neuhardt was born on May 24, 1971 in Ellendale, North Dakota to James and Janice Kay (Dack) Neuhardt. He attended grade school in Barnard, later transferring to Groton when his family moved. Following graduation from Groton High School he enlisted with the Army Reserve. Destri later returned to Northern State University, and earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science in 2004. He then moved to Sioux Falls and was employed with a cellular company. Most recently, he had worked in sales for Rainbow Vacuums.

Destri enjoyed watching movies and playing computer games.

Celebrating his life through memories is his father, James of Huron, two daughters; Alea Janice Neuhardt and Genevieve Neuhardt, his sister, Kiersten (Clint) Sombke of Conde, his grandparents; Clifford & Alea Neuhardt of Aberdeen, Edith Dack of Stoneham, Colorado, two nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Janice and his grandfather, Virgil Dack.
