Memorial Services for Dorothy "Dodi" Conley, 81, of Aberdeen will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 26th at the First United Methodist Church, Aberdeen. Rev. Tom Haggar will officiate.
Dorothy's wishes were to be cremated. Burial of her remains will be at Riverside Memorial Park at a later date under the direction of Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel, Groton. The family prefers no flowers.
Dodi passed away June 23, 2010 at Avera Mother Joseph Manor in Aberdeen.
Dorothy Magnusson Allen was born on August 18, 1928 in Minneapolis to Roy H. and Dorothy (Treadway) Magnusson. She grew up in Minneapolis and Aberdeen. She graduated from Waterford at All Saints in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. On August 24, 1946 she married E.C. "Chuck" Conley, Jr. in Ortonville, Minnesota. Dodi was employed as a bookkeeper at Super Bowl and The Village Bowl for many years. She was also very active with the Jr. Bowling League.
She is survived by one son, Stewart (Angie) Conley of Aberdeen, one daughter, Kitty (Ron) Eisenbeisz of Aberdeen; two granddaughters, Susan Opalinski and Dayis Patterson; two grandsons, Matt Conley and Scott Eisenbeisz and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her step-father, Harry Allen, her husband and one granddaughter.
