Janet Rossow

Services for Janet Rossow, 67, of Conde will be 11:00 am, Monday, September 10th at the United Methodist Church, Conde. Pastor Jan Price will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen under the direction of Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel, Groton. www.paetznick-garness.com

Visitation will be held at the funeral chapel from 4-8pm on Sunday and will continue for one hour prior to services at the church.

Janet passed away September 6, 2007 at Avera St. Lukes Hospital, Aberdeen.

Janet Louise Rossow was born on October 28, 1939 to Melvin and Helen (Borwell) Rossow in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She attended school in Conde, graduating in 1957. Janet then continued her education at the Aberdeen School of Commerce. She worked for many years at the Dakota Farmer in Aberdeen, before moving into the home healthcare field. As a home health aide, Janet cared for local community members, many of which held special places in her heart.

Janet was a member of the United Methodist Church in Conde. She was active in the United Methodist Women and enjoyed crafting yarn hangers.

Grateful for having shared in her life is her brother, Robert (Mavis) Rossow of Conde, her nieces; Robin (Danny) Miles and Heidi (David) Haider, her nephew, Scott (Sara) Rossow and nine great-nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Casketbearers will be Danny Miles, Derek Miles, Larry Bebo, Scott Rossow, Dennis Rossow and David Haider.
