Graveside services will be held at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in New Jersey on Friday, March 19th under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home. Local arrangements are being handled by Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel, Groton.
Janet was born on January 3, 1944 in Marfrance, West Virginia to Lacy B. Boggess and Emma L. (Wendell) Boggess.
Grateful for having shared in her life are her sons, William "Tim" Whitcraft and his wife Sharon of Tabernacle, New Jersey, Ernest Whitcraft of Browns Mills, New Jersey, Frank Whitcraft of Manchester, Tennesse; her brother, Jim Boggess of Pennsylvania; her sister, Violet McAtter of Georgia; three grandchildren and her beloved companion, Clarence Carter of Turton.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Ernest Whitcraft, Sr., her sister, Wanda Smith of West Virginia and her grandson, Timothy.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff at Avera St. Lukes and ManorCare Health Services fro their compassionate care during Janet's illness.
