Jeffre Thomas

Memorial Services for Jeffre "Puff" Thomas, 58, of Conde will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 7th at the United Methodist Church, Conde. Rev. Matt Richards and Rev. Jan Price will officiate.

Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to services on Saturday.

Jeff passed away at his home on September 1, 2013, surrounded by his family.

Jeffre Howard Thomas was born on February 6, 1955 in Conde to Howard "Bill" & Wava (Morrill) Thomas. He attended Conde Independent Schools and graduated in 1973. Jeff worked with his father for many years, before taking over the family farm. After moving from the farm, Puff worked for several area farmers. In 1998, he met the love of his life, Dianne Neigel. They were united in marriage on February 29, 2008.

Jeff enjoyed fishing, hunting, softball, 4-wheeling and playing cards. He loved to laugh and tell stories with his friends and family.

Celebrating his life is his wife, Dianne, his children, Jackie Thomas of Watertown; Justin (Candice) Thomas of Watertown; Scott (Ally) Butler of Wilmot; Rick Butler (fiancAC., Jen Hicks) of Watertown, five grandchildren: Zack, Kennedy, Ivy, Drew and Paisyn, five sisters, Nancy (Garry) Staley of Frederick, Maryland; Becky (Ron) Bawek of Conde; Lori (Ron) Westby of Groton; Jean (Ron) Worlie of Conde; Joni (Matt) Groeblinghoff of Groton, his brother, Scott (Carol) Thomas of Groton, his mother-in-law, Rosie Simon of Conde and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Honorary Urn bearers will be all of Jeff's grandchildren.

The family requests that camouflage or hunting attire be worn for Jeff's service.
