Marlene Frieh

Marlene (Bredberg) Frieh passed away May 9, 2026, in Ocala, FL at the age of 94. Marlene was born in Britton, SD July 22, 1931, the fifth of seven children. She grew up in the small town of Kidder, raised her family in Aberdeen, then moved to Sioux Falls where she worked for many years. In 1996, she retired to Ocala, FL.

Preceding her in death were her parents Clarence and Madeline Bredberg, and siblings: Marilyn, Harold, Neil, Maureen, Marcine, and David. Surviving Marlene are sons, David of St. Louis Park, MN, and Kirk (Shirley), grandchildren, Emma and Katie (Robyn), great-granddaughter, Gabby, all of Buffalo, NY. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

She will be laid to rest July 25, 2026 at Groton Union Cemetery, Groton, SD.
