Miron Fisk, Jr Obituary

Services for Miron Fisk, Jr. 58, of Conde will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 18th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ferney. Rev. Lloyd Redhage will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery under the direction of Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel, Groton.

Visitation will be held at the church in Ferney from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday.

Miron passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Avera St. Lukes Hospital in Aberdeen.

Miron Willmot Fisk, Jr. was born on June 29, 1954 in Aberdeen to Miron Sr. and Iris (Wahl) Fisk. He attended school in Conde. Following graduation, he helped his dad on the family farm. On February 14, 1974 he united in marriage with Susan Dicks in Redfield. Miron worked for James Valley Irrigation and Research near Redfield. Miron later became a rural mail carrier for the Conde area. During the last ten years, he drove truck for Hanlon Brothers Construction.

Miron enjoyed working on the farm and raising his cattle. He also loved to go fishing and camping with his family. He was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren.

Celebrating his life are his two sons, Miron (Kjersten) Fisk III of Watertown, Jeremy (Angie) Fisk of Emery; his grandchildren, Miron IV, Madison, Jonathan and Brayden and his sister, Irene Bau of Faulkton.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his sister, Vickie, brother-in-law, Daniel Bau and father-in-law, Walter Regnier.

Honorary Casketbearers will be his grandchildren, Kenneth Richards and Terry Regnier.

Casketbearers will be Lynn Grimes, Guy Hanlon, Steve Bau, Rick Grothaus, Joe Grothaus and Jeff Dicks.

The family prefers memorials.
