Morgan Bauer Obituary

Morgan Aryn Bauer, beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, left our lives on February 26, 2016. Born in Vermillion, SD on April 13, 1996, Morgan brought joy, laughter and love to everyone who knew her. She graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 2014. Morgan played soccer as a child where she built lifelong friendships. Morgan’s first job was working with her Dad at Spee-Dee Delivery and from there she worked at the Palm Garden, Thatzza Pizza and Minerva’s in the catering department. She also worked with her Step-mom at Aspire. Morgan offered “Free Hugs!” and infectious laughter. She had a vibrant spirit, a kind heart, and a deep passion for disc golf, art, singing, dancing and a natural fun flare for drama. Morgan was known for being outgoing, outspoken, charismatic, the life of the party and a bright light in her family’s life. “THERE ARE SOME THAT BRING A LIGHT SO GREAT TO THE WORLD, THAT EVEN AFTER THEY HAVE GONE THE LIGHT REMAINS.”

Morgan's life, while tragically cut short, was full of love, strength, and courage. She will forever be remembered for her adventurous soul, her resilience, and the kindness she extended to others. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, through the Missing Morgan Group, and in the stories shared by her family and friends.

Morgan is survived by her mother, Sherri Keenan of Odessa, FL, her father Matthew (Leah) Bauer of Bath, SD; siblings: Alie Pesicka, Mason Bauer, Triston Leidholdt and Jaydon Leidhold; her grandparents: Janet & Lester Plank, Steven Keenan, Lon & Cindy Bauer, and Robert Leidholdt; and countless others whose lives she touched. While she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will remain a guiding light for all who loved her.
