Obituary
Paul Dall Isom was born in Fresno, California on August 18, 1949 to Paul and Offie May (Watson) Isom. He grew up in Sacramento. At an early age, he joined the military and fought in Vietnam. On December 30, 1998 he was united in marriage with Beverly (Brandriet) Nelson in Las Vegas, Nevada. Paul drove box freight all over the lower 48 states and Canada.
Paul is a former member of the Elk’s club in Lordsburg, New Mexico and was a current member of the American Legion in Watertown. He enjoyed playing cards and fishing.
Celebrating his life is his wife of 35 years, Beverly, four sons, Dean Watson Isom, Bobby Watson Isom,Tom (Angie) Nelson and Art (Amy) Nelson, two daughters, Dawn Towes, and Jodi Landry. Paul is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, several siblings and a son, Paul Watson, Jr.
Paul passed away August 5, 2023 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls at the age of 73.
